Long Beach Aquarium

We went to the see the marine life at the Long Beach Aquarium with another family. We then went to Outback Steakhouse where I had mediocre prime rib.

1st Gymboree class

We went to the Howard hughes center for Jayhee's Gymboree class. After, she was so tired she went to sleep and we were able to go to souplantation :) Good job Jayhee!

July 4th and Jayhee's progress

For 4th of July, we went to a park with other new parents and had a bbq. Also, this past week, Jayhee has been working on sitting on her own. Here are a few pictures.

A few videos from last Saturday

This was my nerve racking first fight. Gerson, our coach, told me during the fight "If I let go of that armbar again, I'm going to kick you!" Haha. What a good first fight. This guy also reminded me of Bloodsport, the movie.

Probably the best match of the night for me. This guy was a feisty guy and he got an excellent throw on me, which totally psyched me out!

3rd place - BJJ Tournament

I went to the tournament at CSUDH with teammates, Rudy and Ed, and also Gerson (Master) came to stop by as well and saw my first match. I won the first match, lost the 2nd, and won the 3rd match to get 3rd place.

Same thing happened in the open division, I won, lost, won for 3rd place.

Two bronze medals at the tournament...what a good day!

This week...

What a tough week. Graduation ceremony, award ceremony, my wife getting sick, and Jayhee's first day at school! Jayhee was part of award ceremony as well. When I was announcing student names, I had Jayhee in my kangaroo pouch. Nice first day of school! But, that night, she was super fussy. I think she was overstimulated. :(

Feeding and sleeping

So we have been having trouble with feeding and sleeping since the beginning. Last night, we finally tried WARMING up the formula instead of just giving it to her and she ate about 6 or 7 oz's of milk yesterday! She slept from 9:30 to 6:00! I feel rested...

Saucer fun

We bought a jumper/saucer for Jayhee. She seems to be liking it already! :)

Finally, last Wednesday, our daughter was able to flip from her stomach to her back! Congratulations!!!

Everyday we sing this song together because she is special!

Saturday

It's Saturday and I am taking care of Jayhee in the early morning so that my wife can finally get some good rest. It's hard work. It we are having a good time. Every time I put her in the air, she starts laughing. I wish I had a picture or video of this.

4 month old 재희의 신고식!!

4개월 정기첵업을 위해 2달만에 병원나들이(?)를 했다.
재희를 기다리고 있었던 것은 다름아닌 주사 3대와 먹는 약 하나... 먹는 약은 거의 반은 뱉어버렸고 주사 3대를 맞을 땐 그 큰 병원이 떠나가라 울었다. 지금껏 재희를 키우면서 한번도 들어보지 못했던 울렁찬 소리였다 ㅜㅜ 내가 대신 맞아줄 수 있다면 좋으련만...

"재희야, 앞으로 2달 동안은 절~대 주사 안맞게 해줄께요. 엄마가 두 손 걸고 약속해요."

---->재희 노란 옷에 보이는 핑크빛의 정체는...?? 열이 있어 타이레놀을 먹였는데 다 토해버렸다 ㅜ.ㅜ
