Happy 1 Month!

Mother in law and wife are shopping so here's a picture of my baby asleep courtesy of yours truly (2nd picture).

Also,
In about 2 hrs, Sharon will have lived on this planet for 1 month. It has been a good month :)

First bath

Sharon had her first bath on 2.16.12. I recorded this so I know what to do next time. It's in 2x speed and there are some private parts that I need to edit.

Just watch the first few minutes if you like.

My First Pacifier

Pacify

The 3rd week of Sharon's life...difficult. We are super tired from Sharon's sleep schedule. She always wants to feed and she always wants to be held, it seems. We are using the pacifier for the first time...

Jiu jitsu

So what did I learn in Jiu Jitsu today...

1. Passing the half guard with a tripod
2. Passing the half guard with the overhook on the same side as the trapped leg
3. Pull and do the arm drag
4. Passing an open guard by locking the arms...toriono pass?

Good rolls today. I rolled with a purple belt, black belt, and a white belt...but for some reason I feel that the white belt was the toughest of the 3...

Good night!

Soot!

Charcoal! My mother in law from Korea came here to help us out with the baby. One thing she brought from Korea was a stump of charcoal. This stump of charcoal is put in a pan with water in it and the water rises! It goes against gravity...nutty! What does it do? It's supposed to make the humidity go up. We need this because our room feels real dry.

Here is a picture of the charcoal stump.

Bye bye umbilical cord!

Today the umbilical cord fell off of baby Sharon's stomach. There's still a little left inside the belly button but the majority fell off. Congratulations! You are getting older! :)

For my present for passing my master's program...

I am finally starting my BJJ at an official school, Gracie Barra in Culver city. I went to the first day of class and we learned the basics:

1. Sprawling
2. Breaking the grip when they have your lapel (Guard)
3. Taking the back after doing #2

Great class, lots of push ups, and now I am super tired.

Good night!
